Hudson Institute

One reason I haven't posted much lately is that spare internet time is used up interning for the Hudson Institute. In particular I'm working with the Center for Future Security Studies. Sadly it didn't get me a stint in Washington, which would have been fun, but I get to work from Adelaide researching various international relations topics. Which is the kind of thing I do for fun anyway, trying to keep up with world affairs...

Hi Joel
I enjoyed reading "Sasha" and wondered if there was a movie in the pipeline?
Also is there going to be a second book?

Hi Joel,

I'm a mature-age SF/Fantasy reader who recently stumbled across your most recent novels (Sasha and Petrodor). I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the mix of well thought-out and intricate political machinations of the various factions within the books together with the exciting action and strategy displayed by the central character, Sasha!

I was interested to see your interning with the Hudson Institute (where do you find the time? :)) I used to have some involvement in security-related issues with the Australian government department for which I worked over a 20 year period ;)

Any chance you might be interested in attending the Supanova Cons which are organised in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth? I think you'd make a wonderful guest! Warm regards,

Royd
