After over a decade of technical writing as a systems engineer I'm starting to draft some short stories.
I've alway been drawn to hard SF and when I picked up Breakaway I found myself halfway through in a very short time. So I went out and bought the other two in the series available at Barnes and Noble in my neighborhood.
Definitely a fun read that causes my imagination to continue working even after I put the book down. I ran down some of the words you used to describe Cassandra's construction and discovered they play nicely off real research into sythetic muscle tissue.
