Those are amazing. Chris Roberson linked so shots of China on his blog yesterday. For some reason, both made me think of Stephan Martiniere.
Yeah, you're thinking of Kay Kenyon's new book Bright of the Sky... there's one photo in the bunch that struck me exactly the same too.
China wasn't quite that pretty when I went there, but then I didn't get to the mountains and away from the dull industrial plains. But I hope more Chinese see photos like these and demand of their government a sky as bright and clear as this in those shots, the pollution now is just appalling.
I'm also thinking of Stephan's work on the Myst computer games, which were what lead us to select him for BotS. But yes.
