Karma

After decades of trying, I finally won something in one of those chocolate wrapper contest today -- a whole, free, 80 gram chocolate bar. I was so astonished I nearly fell over. Given how these things tend to balance out, I'm going to be extra careful crossing the road for the next few days, in case the square-up is a bus's front fender with my name on it...

Karma's sneakier and more vicious than that. It won't be a bus or any other traffic related karmic balancing, it'll be something like adult-onset chocolate allergy.

:)

Then again, if a bus happens to have a Nestle or Hershey ad on it, maybe that'll suffice. I'd keep an eye on those buses if I were you.

As an aside -- Word verification: nugpla. Sounds vaguely Klingon.

The nice thing about all the cycling I'm doing at the moment is I can pretty much eat what I like and not have to worry about it too much. Within reason, of course.

If you want to know if nugpla is Klingon, you could always check in the Klingon dictionary. Apparently there is one.

You think that's cool, last year I bought a single one-dollar scratch-off card, and won $20! Couldn't believe it! Sadly, that was quite significant as I was unemployed and quite broke at the time ... it got me through the end of the month without having to bum funds off the 'rents.

After that I resolved to buy more lottery tickets, but oddly I haven't bought a once since. (But I did get a job though...)

I never buy lottery tickets. I don't want to get greedy with the karma, dude. Otherwise, like, you win a million, and have a heart attack the next day, capish?

(I'm not really superstitious, I just kind of fun with little things...)
